Between the all the vitamins (A, B6, C,…) and their ability to improve vascular health – there isn’t a good reason not to eat blueberries! This blueberry smoothie is incredibly filling and delivers tons of great nutrients. They’re perfect for freezing, too!

The beginning of the year, John and I love to start fresh with our diets. We love to enjoy fresh smoothies for breakfast. The best smoothies are loaded with vitamins and minerals. They are incredibly versatile and flexible, a blueberry smoothie for breakfast is the perfect start to the day!

Some may wonder how you can be full from smoothies, it’s just a drink – right?!

Eh – I guess technically, yes! However, if you are packing your smoothies with tons of fruit and a few scoops of powder, you will be feeling energized for hours!

This recipe in particular, we pack with spinach, giving you a healthy dose of vitamin C. The extra boost can help ward off any icky germs too!

The bananas bulk up the drink, giving it some density. Bananas were not only the first named “Superfood” by the American Medical Association, but are also can add additional positive calories to blended drinks. Adding an extra banana or two to you morning drink will help keep you full longer!

I don’t even need to tell you about the blueberries! So many different benefits of adding more blueberries to your diet. From the Vitamins A, B6, C to keep your body strong and healthy. Blueberries have also been known to improve vascular health. They are KEY to starting your day right.

Smoothies can be made in bulk and frozen in serving mason jars – make them once a week always be ready! What’s not to love about a blueberry smoothie?!
