Garlicky Pasta with Toasted Breadcrumbs
This is a meal for busy nights. You don't need to get a fast food burger to have a comforting meal in a hurry.

- 5 Oz Pasta of choice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1-2 tbsp evoo
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 Small onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste
- 1/4 Cup parmesan cheese
- chopped parsley for topping
Cook pasta according to package, saving ~1/2 cup pasta water.
While pasta cooks, toast breadcrumbs until brown at 375 degrees (approx. 5-7 min)
Heat a skillet and melt olive oil. Add diced onion and cook until translucent.
Add butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook until fragrant and butter has melted. Set aside until pasta is done.
Add drained pasta to the garlicky olive oil and toss. Add pasta water slowly to reach desired consistency.
Toss with bread crumbs, parsley, and lots of parm.
